The medical care of patients with head injuries, starting at the site of the accident right through to their re-integration into society and into their occupation following successful rehabilitation can only be solved within the scope of scientific, multidisciplinary dialogue and mutual professional cooperation. It is obvious for the EMN that ancillary specialist areas such as traffic safety, accident research, forensic medicine, pharmacology, environmental protection, etc., have to be involved as well.

The EMN is an association of public benefit. Its main purpose: the advancement of neurotraumatology in research, practical application and teaching.
